From a small studio located in Jerusalem, JantarishPrint is a tribute to the forgotten art of hand relief printing, in the techniques of wood cutting and linoleum cutting. All prints and books are handmade throughout the stages of creation - from the carving of the print in the material, the printing on the paper itself to the binding. This form of work reveals the randomness in the mechanical process of printing, and in this randomness lies the charm of handmade printing. This process also ensures that each copy is not a perfect copy of the other copies, but is unique and special in its own way.
